t-matix article: end-to-end solution for logistics with narrowband technology

spoiled and damaged goods can now be easily located – with the help of narrowband iot-trackers.

4smartlogistics gmbh, a specialist for cloud-based end-to-end tracking solutions, has chosen the t-matix iot-platform and uses it as an interface for its customers. In order to be able to track all types of assets, containers or any other cargo without its own energy source in up to 28 countries across europe, they use the so-called narrowband iot trackers.thus, they can monitor the entire supply chain of goods and devices. in the freshness and deep-freeze process, trackers can also record the temperatures to prove the unbroken cooling chain. with the help of the t-matix iot platform, essential data, such as traveled routes, temperature and shock values, vibrations as well as battery power, and much more, are recorded, automatically transmitted to the 4smartlogistics portal and displayed there. these data are made available to 4smartlogistics' customers on the platform. users can thus ensure that no spoiled or damaged goods are delivered.  alongside the portal, 4martlogistics uses a mobile app as an additional interface where customers can call up or store the status of individual items.

martin graßl, product manager for 4smartlogistics, is delighted to be working in partnership with t-matix: “we decided to partner with t-matix because the t-matix portal architecture enables us to independently build and expand our own 4smartlogistics platform.”

“with the technology partnership between 4smartlogistics and t-matix, we can now optimally serve our customers with a well thought-out and proven end-to-end solution,” says peter wagner, business development manager at 4smartlogistics. in addition, t-matix customers benefit from the newly developed tracking devices from 4smartlogistics, which are used by t-matix customers in the construction sector to locate attachments and record operating hours. thus, we have formed a perfect synergy and technology partnership.
